K-5 Halloween Costume Parade
Get those costumes ready and join Farmington Recreation for a fun-filled Halloween Costume Parade through town!
On Friday, October 30, children in grades K–5 are invited to show off their Halloween costumes as we parade through downtown Farmington. Along the way, we’ll pass local businesses that are looking forward to seeing everyone dressed up and helping us celebrate Halloween!
After making our way through town, the parade will continue to the Trunk or Treat at Peaslee’s, where participants can enjoy even more Halloween fun.
We’ll also be keeping an eye out for some especially creative costumes! Participants will have the opportunity to vote for our Halloween King and Halloween Queen (these are the best costumes overall, kids of any age) and one boy and one girl will each receive a prize for Best Costume for each grade group K-1, 2-3, and 4-5.
Important Information
When: Friday, October 30
Arrival Time: Participants must be at the Farmington Recreation Center by 3:00 PM, already dressed in their costumes.
Who: Open to all children in grades K–5.
Children who are enrolled in the Farmington Recreation After School Program will participate with Recreation staff.
If your child is not enrolled in our After School Program, a parent or guardian must accompany them and walk with them for the entire parade.
Come help us fill the streets with superheroes, witches, monsters, princesses, ghosts, and everything in between as we celebrate Halloween together!
