Farmington After School ProgramHosted by Farmington NH Parks & Recreation DepartmentGive your child a fun, safe, and enriching place to go after school! Our After School Program (ASP) is open to Farmington residents in grades K-5 and runs Monday through Friday, 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM, from the first to the last day of school. Let us help make your child's afternoons active, social, and fun!Each day, Recreation staff will meet children at school and—weather permitting—spend time playing outside before walking or riding in the Rec van to the Recreation Department.Registration & FeesRegistration Fee: $25 (non-refundable, due at sign-up)Full-Time: $90/week per childPart-Time: $22/day per childSpots are available for both full-time and part-time enrollment. Weekly payments are due every Friday for the upcoming week. Please note, fees are required whether or not your child attends on a scheduled day (unless the program is closed by Farmington Rec). Farmington After School ProgramHosted by Farmington NH Parks & Recreation DepartmentGive your child a fun, safe, and enriching place to go after school! Our After School Program (ASP) is open to Farmington residents in grades K-5 and runs Monday through Friday, 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM, from the first to the last day of school. Let us help make your child's afternoons active, social, and fun!Each day, Recreation staff will meet children at school and—weather permitting—spend time playing outside before walking or riding in the Rec van to the Recreation Department.Registration & FeesRegistration Fee: $25 (non-refundable, due at sign-up)Full-Time: $90/week per childPart-Time: $22/day per childSpots are available for both full-time and part-time enrollment. Weekly payments are due every Friday for the upcoming week. Please note, fees are required whether or not your child attends on a scheduled day (unless the program is closed by Farmington Rec). If you wish to withdraw from the program, a two-week notice is required. Families are responsible for any remaining balance after withdrawal.Transportation & AttendanceASP staff will meet children in designated school areas and either walk or drive them to the Recreation Department—walking is preferred when weather allows. To ensure safety and accurate attendance:- Please remind your child to go directly to the dismissal area.- Always contact the Recreation Department directly if your child will not be attending that day. Do not rely on the school to pass along messages.
Pick-Up & Sign-Out
Pick-up takes place at the Farmington Recreation Department. On nice days, we may be at the nearby park—if so, a note will be left at the building with our location.- Children must be picked up no later than 5:30 PM.- All children must be signed out daily by an authorized adult—please have your ID ready.- If your child is allowed to sign themselves out, that must be indicated on the registration form.Snack TimeWe provide one daily snack and encourage everyone to eat together. All children are required to wash hands before eating. If your child is a picky eater or has preferences, you're welcome to pack a snack. Please speak to staff if you do not want your child to have the provided snack. Time Changes and ClosuresOn early release days we will pick the kids up at 12:15 PM. There is an extra $10 fee for early release days. The ASP will not operate on days that the school is closed including days that the schools are closed due to weather.
